Gjakova Municipal Building
Gjakova, Kosovo · Existing reinforced concrete / Seismic assessment
Project
A complete investigation of an existing reinforced-concrete municipal building. Geometry, reinforcement and material properties were established through destructive and non-destructive testing, enabling comparative studies, Eurocode 8 assessment and a dependable design basis for the proposed replacement building.
My input
Main Structural Engineer
Designed and supervised the structural investigations
Completed structural assessment and comparative studies
Designed the new building
Prepared professional reports, BoQ, technical specifications and price schedules

Kino Lumbardhi
Prizren, Kosovo · Historic masonry / Timber roof / Strengthening
Project
A conservation-led structural investigation of the historic cinema combining visual survey, NDT and MASW testing, emergency stabilisation and nonlinear assessment. The intervention was developed around two internal steel frames, three upper ties and compatible local measures that safeguard the existing building fabric.
My input
Conservation Engineer

Loreta Historic Roofs
Prague, Czech Republic · Historic timber / Conservation research
Project
Assessment of the south-west wing timber roofs at the Loreta complex. Structural stratigraphy, observed deformation, dendrochronology and non-destructive evidence were interpreted through advanced numerical models to identify deterioration mechanisms and support minimally invasive conservation.
My input

Hybrid Steel-Glulam Roof
Gračanica, Kosovo · Long-span hybrid structure / Redesign
Project
Assessment and redesign of a hybrid steel-glulam sports-hall roof after construction-stage changes altered its intended structural behaviour. Four upgrade strategies were compared before a stainless-steel rod solution was developed, documented and verified through a purpose-designed loading test.
My input
Main Structural Engineer for the Redesign
Structural assessment and redesign of structural components
Developed advanced numerical models
Designed the loading test
Prepared professional reports, BoQ, technical specifications and price schedules
